In 1912, when the first bottles of wine were ready for the second fermentation in the Mott & Fils cellar, the fascinating history of the largest sparkling wine producer in Romania began. Throughout the tumultuous periods of Romania’s history, from the beginnings years of the pre-war period, through the brilliant times of Little Paris, up to the complete liberation of the Romanian spirit, the classic sparkling wine remained a faithful companion, enhancing many happy moments, unchanged by the waves of time.
Keeping the tradition of the sparkling wine fermentation in the bottle, ZAREA 100 is born, as a coronation of the experience gained throughout the century. ZAREA 100 is a delicate sparkling wine with an unmistakable flavour and a fine perlage, the ultimate expression of the tradition of sparkling wine making.
According to our long-lasting tradition dating back to 1912 and based on the bottle fermentation, the wine is bottled and left to mature for a year in cellars at a constant temperature. Then, with the greatest care, the bottles are manually turned over an eighth of a circle in order to crystallise perfection. The liquid then finds its purpose in a royal packaging, worthy of the superlative of the universal industry.
