8. Consumer rights and distance selling

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you, as a consumer, have the right to cancel your purchase contract with Romanian Drinks Limited within 30 days without giving any reason. This cancellation period will expire 30 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. You can do this by: · Sending an email to orders@romaniandrinks.co.uk.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

• 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
• (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
• If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we were informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

You shall send back the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If the goods, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post/courier, we will specify the cost of returning them. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

9. Delivery

Deliveries will be made to the address specified by you during the order process. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided is accurate and complete. Romanian Drinks cannot be held responsible for any delivery issues that arise due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by you.

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving them, and delivery times may vary based on your location and the shipping method is chosen. While we endeavor to meet the estimated delivery times, these are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control.

In compliance with the Licensing Act 2003, age verification may be required upon delivery of your order to ensure compliance with legal age restrictions for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The following applies to age verification:

• Delivery personnel may ask for a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) to verify the age of the recipient.
• If the recipient of the order appears to be under the age of 25, ID will be requested to confirm they are over 18 years old.
• If valid ID cannot be presented upon request, the delivery personnel have the right to refuse to deliver the alcoholic beverages.

If age verification fails, or if there is no appropriate person at the delivery address to receive and provide proof of age for the order, the following will occur:

• The delivery will be withheld and an attempt may be made to contact you for further instructions.
• We may arrange for an alternative delivery date or for the order to be collected from a designated location.
• In the event that redelivery or collection is not feasible, the order may be returned to us and you may be liable for return shipping costs.

Where available, we will provide you with tracking information for your order, allowing you to monitor the delivery status. Once delivered and signed for (if applicable), responsibility for the goods passes to you. If you have specified a safe place or a third party (such as a neighbor) for delivery, you also accept

responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur once the order is delivered to the specified location or person.

Any disputes related to delivery, including issues with age verification or delivery condition, should be promptly reported to our customer service team. We will investigate such disputes in accordance with our policies and the relevant legal requirements.

10. Liability and disclaimer

Romanian Drinks Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential, arising out of or in connection with the use of our website, the purchase, use or inability to use our products, or from any information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through our website, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the website, even if advised of their possibility.

While Romanian Drinks Limited takes every care to ensure the quality and safety of our products, our liability for defects in products, as expressly provided for in these terms, is limited to the purchase price of the product or the replacement of the product, at our discretion. Romanian Drinks Limited will not be responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.

Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, nor any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law, including your legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11. Force majeure

Romanian Drinks Limited shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by a Force Majeure event. A Force Majeure Event means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disasters, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

If a Force Majeure event takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a contract:

(a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you, and

(b) our obligations under a contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Force Majeure event. Where the Force Majeure event affects our delivery of product(s) to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the Force Majeure event is over.

You may cancel a contract affected by a Force Majeure event that has continued for more than 30 days. To cancel please contact us. If you opt to cancel, you will have to return (at our cost) any relevant

product(s) you have already received and we will refund the price you have paid, including any delivery charges.
