Mamaia Vermouth was an exceptional product with a complex and very refined taste. Although the production of the iconic Mamaia Vermouth was discontinued, it remained a longstanding symbol for the past era and a story that deserves to be known and carried forward.
Nowadays the drink is obtained from a special blend of red wines, subjected to a flavouring process with bitter herbs, especially wormwood.
Mamaia Vermouth is a drink with a distinct personality; natural plant extracts and a long maturation process, all contribute to creating an exceptional product with a perfect balance between sweet and bitter, characteristic of this type of drink.
Colour: intense, bright ruby.
Aroma: complex and persistent, with obvious notes of aromatic herbs, especially wormwood, combined with red fruits and spices.
Taste: velvety and well balanced, with a pleasant bitterness that gives it a special complexity. The herbal aromas blend harmoniously with the sweet notes of the must, offering a memorable taste experience.
Serving temperature: 7-8°C.
Food pairing: can be served as an aperitif, with olives, lemon slices and hard cheeses, or as an ingredient in various cocktails. It can also compliment red meat dishes or cheese platters.
