Exactly as the name suggests, Tohani Flori de Gheata (Iceflowers) refers to the fact that the Tamaioasa Romaneasca grapes were picked at the first frosts in the vineyard. Golden yellow and bright colour with the density of a sweet, structured wine. The nose is fresh and delicate, with sensations reminiscent of ripe and juicy white-fleshed fruits. Peaches and apricots, well-ripened grapes and hints of pineapple, almonds and vanilla. The taste is characteristic of a wine produced from late-harvested grapes and the dominant sensations are the sweetness of oranges, apricots, candied exotic fruits, pineapple and lychees. Very well balanced acidity that perfectly supports the remaining sugars.

The grapes are hand-picked and then carefully sorted. Maceration takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the primary aromas. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and leads to an alcohol concentration of no more than 10%, resulting in 220 grams of residual sugar.

We recommend a serving temperature of 12 degrees Celsius, which will highlight the elegant character of the wine alongside pastries with citrus sweets.
