At Via Husi, we have revived the tradition of sparkling wine with Extravaganza, a high-quality, sophisticated and precious sparkling wine that has become a true statement of our non-conformist spirit. Creators of content, beauty, joy and connections, we speak to those who refuse to be ordinary or easily forgotten.
The Extravaganza range includes two premium sparkling wines made using the Charmat method, the same method used for Prosecco, which delivers fine bubbles and an unmistakable taste. Petit Extravaganza Alb Medium Dry, made from Feteasca Regala grapes and Petit Extravaganza Rose Medium Dry, produced from Busuioaca de Bohotin grapes, are sparkling wines that combine tradition with modern refinement.
Extravaganza is more than just a wine; it is a wine experience that takes you out of your daily routine and invites you to socialise, making it perfect for relaxing moments with those close to you. Add a little “Thirst for Life” to every moment and turn any occasion into a celebration.
A wine that adds sophistication to any special occasion, Petit Extravaganza Alb (White) is the perfect choice for moments that deserve to be enjoyed in style.
Extravaganza Alb is a quality sparkling wine made from the Feteasca Regala grape variety.
With a bright, pale greenish-white colour, this wine delights with fresh aromas of green apples and citrus, perfectly balanced by delicate floral notes.
Velvety, with a complex, fruity structure and vibrant bubbles that add a lively, refreshing sensation, it finishes elegantly, with a subtle blend of floral and fruity aromas.
Petit Extravaganza Alb was produced in two distinct stages. In the first stage, the base wine was obtained from grapes of the Romanian Feteasca Regala variety.
The second stage involved the actual production of the sparkling wine. For this, a tirage mixture was prepared, consisting of the base wine, a starter culture of selected yeasts and sugar. The primary fermentation was carried out under controlled conditions, with careful monitoring of the fermentation kinetics to ensure the complete fermentation of the sugars.
The secondary fermentation took place in pressurised stainless-steel tanks over a period of four weeks. The wine was subsequently cooled and kept in the tank to allow the carbon dioxide to fully integrate into the wine, before the product was filtered and bottled under isobaric conditions.
