Lacrima lui Ovidiu Fortified White Wine Aged 12 Years

Lacrima lui Ovidiu (Ovidiu's Tear) is the only fortified Romanian wine. This version of Lacrima lui Ovidiu is aged for 12 years and this fortified white wine is obtained from the Murfatlar vineyard through the vinification of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Muscat Ottonel varieties, blended in different proportions according to the harvest years and aged in oak barrels. The resulting wines are aged in oak barrels for many years to develop their bouquet and oak flavour.

The taste is very pleasant, light, sweet, enriched with a whole spectrum of woody, caramelised, cedar and oak aromas, as well as a delicate taste of honey.

Colour: Clear, amber-golden.

Aroma: Very pleasant, bouquet and oak, refined, highly appreciated olfactory.

Taste: Very pleasant, light, adorned with a whole spectrum of fine aromas, with a long, lingering aftertaste. The intensity of the bouquet and the sweetness of the wine make this product a special tasting experience that deserves all attention.
