Kaspers Artisanal Elderflower Schnapps (Rachiu flori de soc) is a 100% Romanian artisanal drink, produced in the village of Saschiz. The elderflowers are also collected from Saschiz and the surrounding area, a work done by approximately 1,500 people.
Kaspers is the range of alcoholic beverages of the Pivnita Bunicii brand, a Romanian brand that makes products from natural ingredients, sourced from its own orchard or from the Saschiz area, just like grandma used to.
The recipes used are inspired by local tradition, but have been developed and improved to offer a consistently high level of food quality and hygiene.
Pivnita Bunicii products can also be found at home, in the village of Saschiz, where there is a store (located right in a cellar dating back to around 1850) and a tasting centre, Taste Transylvania Experience, located next to the brand's processing hall.
