Intense ruby colour, with violet hues, Domeniile Cuza Malbec displays generous aromas of black cherries, dried plums and fine spices in the glass: vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon. Dry wine, with a velvety texture, explosively reveals juicy shades of blueberries, blackberries and dark chocolate, with subtle spicy notes.
The grapes are harvested manually in small crates, from each plot, with special attention and during cool times of the day to preserve the characteristic aromas of the variety.
The cooled grapes are directed to the sorting line where they are hand-picked, impurities are removed, then the berries are sorted by size and destemmed. After slow pressing, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. Fermentation ends when the yeasts have consumed all the sugar, the wine is sedimented, and the blend is created. After maturing in different vessels, the wine is filtered and the final assembly is made.
