The Selene Feteasca Neagra by Cramele Recas is an assortment is produced in a limited edition of 6,628 bottles. The name is inspired by Selene, the goddess of the moon in Greek mythology, because the grapes that make up the assortments in this collection are picked at night, to protect the intense aroma of the variety from the sun's rays. The wine is made from ripe grapes, picked only from certain areas of the vineyard, in the best years.

It has intense aromas of juicy plums, blackberries, blueberries, currants and cherries, with accents of brown sugar and cinnamon.

Best served with: blue cheeses, beef dishes or desserts with forest fruits.
