Cramele Recas Explicit Feteasca Neagra is a powerful Feteasca Neagra, born from the most renowned Romanian grape variety, carefully cultivated across the 37 hectares of the Recas vineyard.
The varied soils and different exposures contribute to my complexity, while our winemakers carefully control yields and micro-vinify each parcel, offering me a wide range of expressions.
Within the range I represent, Feteasca Neagra impresses with aromas of black and red fruits and a strong yet elegant body. The grapes come from the parcel planted in 2010 in the La Stejari area, from the side with red clay soils. Red grape maceration takes place at controlled temperatures and the use of oak is perfectly balanced to achieve an ideal aromatic and flavour profile (50% new oak for 6 months).
My shades are a cherry-red with violet reflections. On the palate, I will captivate you with intense forest fruit aromas: blackberries, beechnuts and raspberries. After aeration, you will discover delicate notes of wood and cinnamon. I am a structured, full-bodied Feteasca Neagra. My finish is long and velvety. I am an old Romanian variety for a new revolution in the international wine world!
