Crama Serve Cuvee Charlotte Red Wine

Crama Serve Cuvee Charlotte is a dry red wine from 2018 harvest, a blend of Merlot (48%), Feteasca Neagra (38%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (14%), obtained from grapes hand-picked from our vineyards in Ceptura.
The wine stands out for its fruity notes, balanced acidity and a long and persistent finish.
2018 was an earlier year for the vines, with significant rainfall, which was a challenge for the winegrowers. The harvest began early, on August 22, with the earliest varieties and ended with Cabernet Sauvignon, on October 18. The mild autumn allowed for good ripening of the red grapes, offering more intense aromas in the wines, but also freshness and a pleasant acidity.
This is the 18th Cuvee Charlotte that we produce, a cuvee named after the eldest daughter of the winery’s founder, Count Guy de Poix.
