Vivino rating: 3.5 / 5Crama Olterra Luturi Cabernet Sauvignon & Negru de Dragasani is an exceptional dry red wine, resulting from the harmonious combination of two distinct varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Negru de Dragasani (40%). This blend reflects the unique character of the terroir of Dragasani, offering a complex and balanced taste experience.
Both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Negru de Dragasani are harvested at full maturity in the beginning of October. The grapes are carefully sorted on the sorting table, the maceration of the grapes takes between 5 and 8 days at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The alcoholic fermentation continues at 26°-28°C for another 8-10 days, followed by warm maceration (thermo maceration) between 5 and 8 days. Malolactic fermentation immediately after alcoholic fermentation. Aged for 1 year in stainless steel tank before bottling.
Nose:
The aromas are intense, with black fruit notes predominating. It delights us with shades of cherries, blackberries and blueberries.
Taste
The wine is dry and has a high alcohol content. The tannins are abundant, and the taste is rich and intense. It has a fairly solid structure and an above-average body. It presents shades of well-ripened black fruits. Although the tannins are abundant, they are well integrated, giving the wine a velvety texture.
Colour: Deep and intense ruby red
Nose: The aroma is intense and dominated by black fruits
Palate: Rich and intense, with excellent structure, medium to full-bodied, with notes of ripe sour cherries, blackberries and forest fruits. Very well balanced, with smooth mouthfeel and velvety tannins
