The area, vineyards and wine of Corcova is part of the dearest memories of the Romanian nobles, of the Romanian and French writers from the 19th – 20th centuries.
In 2005, the passionate and dedicated people from the Corcova team expanded the domains, restored the wineries and then took on the heaviest task – to rebuild the fame of the wine from the Corcova winery.

Bouquet: brings clarity and simplicity through the intense miasma of citrus fruits, vegetables that have crept into the vinification and maturation processes.
The aromas of Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu Sauvignon Blanc are intense of apricots and peaches, subtly complemented by accents of sweet and muffin almonds.
Taste: a white monocépage, fresh and yet creamy (did not come into contact with wood), lively and with final notes of exotic fruit. The proverb comes from the long run. In the first phase, the taste is fine thanks to the green lemons, the vegetables, especially freshly cut hay and Turkish cranberry. In the second phase and in the finish, the wine is fruit and vegetable, still fine, light and round.
Culinary combinations: grilled chicken; turkey in the oven; grilled mackerel, seafood, tarts with goat cheese and caramelized onions. Serving temperature 12 ° C
