The Corcova vineyard is located in Oltenia in the southwestern part of Romania, in Mehedinti county and includes 55 hectares on which traditional varieties of the place have been replanted: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Feteasca Neagra, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, as well as a new variety, Syrah.
The aromas of Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu Chardonnay are intense of apricot and peach, subtly complemented by accents of sweet almond and muffin. A white monocépage, fresh and yet creamy (it has not come into contact with wood), lively and with final notes of exotic fruits. The proverbial long-lasting wine.
Colour: Pleasant and inviting golden yellow, with a very good clarity, as if announcing the elegant character
Bouquet: It presents a complex bouquet of fruit aromas (golden apples, ripe pears and apricots) and subtle woody, topped with vanilla, muffins and butter.
Taste: It has a balanced and round taste, full-bodied, good acidity.
