Every drop of Carpathian single malt starts its life as rainwater in the unexpected nature of the Carpathian mountains, home of the biggest wildlife in Europe.
Carpathian Single Malt is distilled, matured and bottled at the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery, located near the Carpathian Mountains. It is made using 100% malted barley produced in Romania, with sub-Carpathian water, and it is bottled at 46% ABV. The whisky has been under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson, who holds more than 30-years’ experience in Scotch whisky and Irish whiskey distillation.

The 53-gallon 1st fill American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, this Carpathian Cognac Single Malt Romanian Whisky part of the Cognac Cask Collection spent its initial years in compliments perfectly the 285L French Cognac finishing cask, adding more complexity to this rich golden coloured whisky.
This full-bodied whisky has notes of vanilla & honey with a sweet lingering finish again bottled at 46% ABV non-chill filtered to retain the full range of complex flavours.
Appearance: Gold colour, clean and clear.
Nose: Intense, with hints of apple, banana and pineapple.
Taste: Vanilla, honey.
Finish: Sweet, round and complex.
