
Caii de la Letea Volume 2 Cabernet Sauvignon & Feteasca Neagra Red Wine 750ml








Caii De La Letea Volume 2 Cabernet Sauvignon & Feteasca Neagra is a dry red wine, a blend obtained from Feteasca Neagra and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, two varieties that complement each other perfectly - the strong, tannic body of the Cabernet Sauvignon being velvety of the Feteasca Neagra.
The grapes are picked in late September and carefully selected on the sorting tables. The maceration of grapes takes between 5 and 8 days at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The alcoholic fermentation is controlled at 26°-28°C for another 8 to 10 days, followed by warm maceration (thermo maceration) between 5 and 8 days. Aged for 1 year in French oak barrels (a combination of new and used) before bottling.
Colour: Dark ruby.
Nose: Rich and fruity with accents of dried plums, sour cherries and blackberries as well as dark chocolate, spice and tobacco.
Palate: Generous and very well balanced red with pronounced but well integrated tannins, velvety mouthfeel alongside attractive notes of forest fruits and spices such as black pepper, cinnamon and vanilla, harmonious and long finish.
