Bucegi Lager is a traditional Romanian blonde lager with a rich history dating back to 1980. Originally brewed in Constanta and Craiova, it quickly became a staple in breweries across the country. Now produced by Heineken Romania, Bucegi is crafted in four local breweries: Constanta, Craiova, Miercurea Ciuc, and Targu Mures, ensuring freshness and a strong national presence.

In 2020, Bucegi introduced a new recipe featuring two types of hops, resulting in a richer taste and a longer-lasting foam. This lager is known for its light, refreshing character and balanced bitterness, making it an ideal companion for traditional Romanian dishes and social gatherings.
