Ingredients:

- 60ml tuica (țuică) Romanian plum brandy

- 30ml fresh lemon juice

- 20ml honey syrup (equal parts honey and water, blended until smooth)

- 6-8 fresh mint leaves

- 2 fresh basil leaves

- sparkling water

- ice cubes

- garnish: sprig of rosemary and a lemon twist

Glass: Serve in a highball glass.

Instructions:

1. In a shaker, muddle the mint and basil leaves gently with the lemon juice and honey syrup to release the essential oils.

2. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and add the tuica (țuică).

3. Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.

4. Double-strain the mixture into the highball glass filled with fresh ice all the way to the top.

5. Top up with sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.

6. Carefully clap the rosemary sprig between your hands to release its aroma and place it in the glass as garnish, along with a lemon twist curled around it.
